REW Istanbul is one of the biggest international exhibitions for recycling environmental technologies and waste management industries. During the 3 day show in Istanbul, REW brings together an extensive range of equipment, services and technologies for this sector.

CK International will be exhibiting the CK300VX, one of the new low height baler range.

The VX range of balers are all low height balers. They are the ultimate in user friendly balers with the benefits of low noise, a fast cycle time and front loading baling cord. Bale size ranges from the CK100VX which produces bales of cardboard up to 90kg to the CK300VX which produces bales of cardboard up to 300kg.

CK staff will be available at REW to discuss all our waste balers including our latest low height balers.

Field Service Engineer

We are currently looking to recruit multi-skilled Field Service Engineers to strengthen our service resources in the UK. The successful candidate will be based in the vicinity of Birmingham area, other surrounding areas may be considered.

Roles & Responsibilities:

As a Field Service Engineer, roles and responsibilities will include:

Installation, commissioning and maintenance of waste recycling equipment
Home based role, member of a team covering the UK
Multi-skilled, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic
Occasionally the need to be flexible with hours

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Essential:

· Previous service engineering experience
· Electrical Fault Finding
· Hydraulic Fault Finding
· IT Literate
· As a company facing representative of the company you must be personable and professional
· Time management and communication skills

Desirable

· Apprenticed, ONC qualified or other relevant qualifications considered
· Fabrication experience
· PLC knowledge
· CSR Card

· Full product training will be given over 3 weeks in our factory in Dungannon.

CK launch new semi-automatic horizontal baler

CK International are delighted to announce the launch of the new CK600HFE-PC semi automatic horizontal baler.

This baler has a portcullis door with a full bale eject ram for ease of operation. It has an excellent shearing system for heavy duty material and has a throughput of up to 1.5 tonnes per hour. The generous hopper size of the baler allows large volumes of waste to be fed into the baler using a loading shovel or grab type loader.

The CK600HFE-PC baler has a 5 wire horizontal tying system which makes it especially suitable for plastic bottles, hard plastic and aluminium cans as well as cardboard. It can produce bales of cardboard up to 600kg and bales of plastic film up to 700kg.

The 60 tonne compaction force used, produces high density bales suitable for containerisation. Container weights of 22 – 24 tonnes cardboard are consistently achieved with CK balers. This reduces transport costs and customers can potentially achieve a premium price for baled product.
