Efficient Cardboard & Waste Processing
Regardless of the volume and type of cardboard (boxes, flattened, shredded) it can be baled. By using a cardboard baler, a large volume reduction (up to 90%) can be achieved. The baled material can be sold, generating a revenue stream.

Distribution Centre
A UK based distribution centre were looking at ways of making their operation more cost effective. Following discussions between their production manager and CK International sales representative it was determined that the best solution was to install a mill size vertical cardboard baler to bale the large volumes of cardboard waste. A CK500V was installed to bale up to 2 tonnes cardboard per week. Bale weights up to 490kg cardboard are being achieved.

As a result of installing the balers savings of over £20, 000 are being made annually on waste disposal costs as skip collection has been reduced from twice weekly to once per month. Furthermore sale of the baled material is generating revenue. They are receiving almost £7000/yr from the sale of baled plastic and cardboard. In addition, their in house waste handling is much more efficient and less labour intensive.
