Semi-Automatic Baler Upgrades and Custom Baler Modifications: Real-Time Bale Size Display by CK International
Recently, a customer approached us requesting a new baler to wrap agricultural waste. Thanks to our expertise in delivering custom baler modifications, we addressed an issue he had experienced on his previous baler: operators constantly overloaded the machine. Consequently, he wanted to prevent the same problem with his new CK baler.
Overloading a baler can cause downtime, increase wear and tear, and reduce efficiency. To solve this, we added a real-time bale size display as part of our semi-automatic modifications, allowing operators to monitor bale growth and adjust material input instantly. As a result, the system ensures consistent bale weights, reduces machine strain, and increases throughput. Overall, these enhancements reflect CK International’s commitment to tailored solutions that improve performance for agricultural and industrial clients.
Therefore, he requested a visual aid that would indicate the current bale size while the machine was in operation. Consequently, operators can adjust the amount of material they lift with the loading machine each time. CK International provided a solution in the form of a large numerical display, which we added to his new semi-automatic baler (CK850HFEPC75T). This way, they can see the increase in bale size with every machine stroke. Additionally, the display’s large size was ideal for their expansive yard.
