Anglesey Council: Efficient Metal & Cardboard Recycling
Anglesey Council wanted a smarter way to recycle metal cans from kerbside collections. CK International installed three semi-automatic balers: two CK600HFE balers for steel and aluminium cans, and one CK850HFE for cardboard and larger steel cans.
Waste is sorted via a conveyor and picking station, with an over-band magnet directing steel cans and an eddy current separator handling aluminium. The balers produce 500 kg bales from the CK600HFE and 850 kg bales from the CK850HFE, making storage, handling, and transport more efficient.
The result: streamlined recycling, improved operational efficiency, and satisfied site management.
