First Installation: Meade Farm, Ireland
CK International installed the first CKSR16 for Meade Farm in County Meath, Ireland. The customer previously used an automatic channel press baler that struggled to achieve dense bales, only reaching 280kg. The old machine required frequent maintenance, causing production downtime and financial strain. Safety features were also insufficient for staff.
After careful analysis, CK International worked closely with Meade Farm to meet all their requirements. The previous third-party conveyor was integrated with the CKSR16’s controls, improving safety and material management. The baler now handles higher throughput, achieving 30T/week as promised.
Advanced Features and Cloud Monitoring
Meade Farm also opted for the cloud-based CK Baler Performance Monitoring system. This system allows managers to adjust bale dimensions at the push of a button and track performance daily, monthly, or annually. Compared to their previous machine, the CK Channel Baler CKSR16 operates four times faster, allowing staff to focus on other tasks. This reduces downtime, maintenance costs, and improves return on cardboard.
